POWERS
- Possession - Having an Inugami essence, Resire is capable of possessing and controlling others, allowing him to manipulate them into doing his bidding. His ability to possess another depends on their own strength, and he is capable of possessing the dead, or mentally weak with ease. Those who are more mentally trained require a little more effort, and he usually requires their permission, or must take advantage of them in a weakened state to gain dominance.
- Illusion - Resire's powers derive primarily from the requirement to invoke fear and absolute terror as a form of punishment. As such he has a powerful control over the ability to manipulate the perceptions of others, creating illusions at will. This also extents to him being able to shift his current form.
- Fulfillment - Whilst the Inugami are primarily used for their ability to invoke the fear of god into others, they are also capable of granting wishes the same as Kitsune's would. This generally comes in the form of increasing luck, intelligence, or confidence, but he is capable of fulfilling other requests if there is a mutual benefit involved in such a contract.
- Hex - Resire's Inugami abilities extend beyond positive benefits. Whilst he is able to grant wishes for the benefit of people, so too can he cast hexes as part of his nightmare duties. To the weak, or willing, he is able to grant death, especially to those on its doorstep, and to those who his powers cannot quite reach, he can weaken them with some form of illness, or bad luck to which will aid his thirst to possess or kill.
- Wraith - Resire is a vengeful spirit at heart, and is able to temporarily alter his physical body into a ghost like state. In this state he is capable of using all of his powers, as well as being granted invulnerability to all physical threats for a limited time, and is able to pass through tangible objects as well. Doing so leaves him considerably weak afterwards however.
Healer - If he so desires, Resire can possess another in order to heal them. In such a state, their body undergoes a halting of sorts, immobilizing the natural processes such as decay. This allows him to imbue healing energy into the body to restore it to a healthy state, and allows him to possess hosts, even dead ones, without them rotting away.
